Advisory Board

Ingo Timm holds the chair of Business Informatics at Trier University and leads the Cognitive Social Simulation team at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), is co-spokesperson of the section on AI (FBKI) of the German Informatics Society (GI), and is member of the thinktank ZOES e.V. on public safety. He is working on cognitive social simulation and distributed AI. The focus lies on autonomous software systems, intelligent assistance systems, cognitive decision models, social interaction of autonomous systems, and (social) simulation. Current research projects focus on information management and cognitive social simulation for crisis and disaster management, e.g., AScore, AKRIMA and SPELL.
